Heather Prentice, Founding Member and President, is responsible for running Board meetings, appointing committees, ensuring resources and performing other duties as directed by the project team. Heather has a B.S. in Psychology from Purdue University of Indianapolis and is employed by Eli Lilly & Company as Sr. Director, Clinical Development, Early Phase Research. Heather has close ties with the Kays and their extended family going back more than two decades with Warner’s mother and grandmother coaching all three of Heather’s daughters in gymnastics from elementary through high school. Heather is passionate about clinical research and drug development and especially for finding new treatments for diseases with an unmet medical need like the ultra rare genetic disorder INAD.
Terri Oswalt, Founding Member and Vice President, works with the President to plan, develop and meet established goals of the Board. In the absence of the President, Terri manages the day to day activities of the Board. Terri’s love and compassion for her family has given her purpose and goals for the past thirty-eight years. She and her husband have raised three girls of their own and now have four, soon to be six, grandchildren. Since Warner’s diagnosis, it has become Terri’s priority to build awareness of INAD with hopes of finding a treatment/cure that will not only help her grandson, but other families facing the same challenge with this condition. Through her years of experience in the world of education, school organizations, coaching and supporting sports related non-profits, Terri offers an array of fundraising and event ideas to help capitalize on the support of INAD scientific research.
Kris Becher, a Founding Member and Treasurer, is responsible for overseeing all financial transactions from fundraising efforts including budget planning, financial reporting, record-keeping and managing incoming/outgoing funds of the project team. Kris is a CPA with a B.S. in Business from the Kelly School of Business through Indiana University. For nearly 20 years she has held the position of Finance Director for the Catholic Youth Organization managing and reporting on all aspects of finance for both the Athletic and Enrichment Programs, locally, and the Camp Programs at CYO Camp Rancho Framasa in Nashville, Indiana. Kris, too, has gymnastics ties with the Kays and Oswalts, having had two daughters in the competitive program with the Oswalt girls. Kris offers her knowledge and experience in the world of non-profit to assist in the mission of Warriors4Warner & INAD Warriors, Inc.
Mike Nellinger, General Counsel, helps interpret the law and provides expert guidance to the Board of Directors. Mike retired from a senior leadership role at Rolls-Royce Corporation in 2013 and opened his own legal firm at that time. He has been involved with and counseled several charitable organizations during that time and has organized and worked with 501(c)(3) and other private foundations. Mike is a friend of the Oswalt family.
Caroline Prentice works as Secretary to collaborate with the Board of Directors in the organization and planning of various aspects of INAD Warriors. Caroline is responsible for ensuring bi-weekly meeting agendas are up to date as well as taking real time notes during the progression of meetings. She ensures files are recorded in a clear and efficient manner to guarantee smooth and secure access for all Board of Directors. Caroline has a B.S. in Biological Science from the University of South Carolina and is currently employed as a research assistant for ASSET, LLC. She was involved in various philanthropic committees as a member of Zeta Tau Alpha at university. Additionally, she served as the corresponding secretary to the Vice President of Programming in her sorority. Caroline has strong ties with the Kays and Oswalts as they coached her throughout her competitive gymnastics career.
Paige Kays, a Founding Member and the Fundraising & Awareness committees Chair, is responsible for creating public awareness initiatives and ensuring Warriors4Warner and INAD Warriors, Inc. are visible to the community and those interested in supporting the foundations’ goals. Paige’s son Warner was diagnosed with INAD in 2022 and is the inspiration for Warriors4Warner and INAD Warriors, Inc. Paige is committed to raising awareness and educating the public on this ultra rare pediatric disease and supporting families through connecting them with resources they need to help their child. Her hope is no other parent will suffer what she and husband and family have gone through and continue to go through each and every day. Paige lives by the belief that Faith Can Move Mountains.
Cameron is our web developer for INAD Warriors, Inc. He has 3 years of previous experience in developing websites. He currently is an entrepreneur where he manages 50+ short term rentals. Cameron has been friends with Andy Kays, Warners dad, since childhood.
Devin Harris has a BS in Marketing and Supply Chain from Kelley School of Business of Indianapolis. Devin is currently employed at J.D. Power as an Account Executive/BDM within the Autodata Solutions Division. Devin has five years of prior fundraising experience with Adrenaline Fundraising. His main responsibilities are Fundraising and Awareness for INAD Warriors, Inc. Devin has been friends with Andy Kays, Warners dad, since childhood.
Alex Cooper has a BS in both Accounting and Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business of Indianapolis and is employed by Ernst and Young, LLP as a Senior Auditor. Alex has 7 years of past experience with fundraising efforts to end childhood illness through the Riley Dance Marathon Network serving in a variety of roles including time as an executive member. Alex spent many years competing with the Oswalt girls and being coached by both Paige and Terri.
Hallie Pygman has a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with 8 years of experience in the medical device industry. She has led the philanthropic outreach team at Medtronic Plainfield for 3 years and has a history supporting fundraising for the Make a Wish Foundation through her sorority Chi Omega. Hallie knows the Oswalt family through years of competitive gymnastics. Through her background in project management and philanthropy, she is prepared to support INAD Warriors in their mission to improve the lives of those impacted by INAD.
Zach Pygman has a BS in Accounting from Indiana State University and is employed by Alter Domus as a Senior Fund Accountant. Zach has several years of experience planning and leading fundraising and awareness efforts for his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha, specifically their annual philanthropic events for the Special Olympics of Indiana and the Bethany House. Zach is excited to utilize his prior philanthropic experience to help expand the efforts of INAD Warriors and be an advocate and supporter of those impacted by INAD.
Dr. Erin Conboy, studied biology at Grinnell College in Iowa, then medical school in Hersey, Pennsylvania and finally finished her pediatrics residency, medical genetic residency and Biochemical genetics fellowship training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Erin is a clinical geneticist and biochemical geneticist and has a special interest in the care of patients and families with rare disorders, and the diagnosis and discovery of rare disease to help families that are struggling with the uncertainty of the diagnostic odyssey. She started at Indiana University Health/Riley Children’s Hospital 5 years ago and is currently an assistant professor, director of the Undiagnosed Rare Disease Clinic (URDC) and assistant program director of the Medical Genetics Residency and combined Pediatric/Medical Genetics residency at Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University Health. She has started three clinics, URDC, Ocular Genetics Clinic and Immunogenetics Clinic along with her husband, an allergist/immunologist who is here with her tonight. Additionally, she has helped to establish an Ocular Genetics multidisciplinary Clinic. She has two sons and enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
